The information required to submit a request is as follows:

• Subject’s full name
• Subject’s date of birth

Considering that this verification is based on the subject’s full name and date-of-birth, we recommend that you indicate the known addresses of the candidate so that we can validate the positive record is associated to the right person.

It is important to know that no consent is required for a criminal record check in Quebec because the database is public.

Criminal background checks in Quebec, of which we summarize a maximum of 3 cases, include the following:

• Stays of proceedings
• Pending cases

It is important to understand that the report excludes cases that have been subject to a pardon as well as information at the civil and statutory levels. In addition, some criminal charges may appear at the municipal level and may not be available in the consulted database.
